Healing time after laser tattoo removal is very quick. Most of the healing takes place within the first 72 hours and is complete during the first week to two weeks following your first tattoo removal treatment. As you progress in your treatments the healing is quicker and quicker because your tattoo has less and less ink each time you come in. The density of the ink in your tattoo plays a big role in the amount of tissue injury so as the density decreases, there is less that is breaking up into smaller peices and cause a small amount of injury to the tissue.
